Judicial action against FETO members
The High Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK) convened to take the heaviest measures against judges and prosecutors who were associated to the armed terrorist organization FETO. After the coup attempt in Istanbul and Ankara, the position of the judges and prosecutors in the judiciary system who were identified as members of the armed terrorist organization FETO were discussed. After the coup attempt, it was decided that all judges and prosecutors who were on leave would be summoned back to duty immediately and the judiciary recess would be cancelled.
