Coup plotters were detained
A group of putschist soldiers at Taksim Square closed the square and stated that martial law was declared. The soldiers and the people who took to the streets upon President Erdoğan’s call opposed. Thereupon, the coup plotters opened fire at the citizens. Later, the coup plotters were detained in the operation carried out by police forces.
