Citizens blocked the commandos
After 580 commandos setting off from Denizli to Ankara were blocked by the citizens on the night of the coup attempt, they were taken into custody. The court announced its decision on the putschist soldiers and ordered the arrest of 52 military officers out of 58. Following the court decision, putschist soldiers were arrested and sent to prison.
