Binali Yıldırım changed his route
Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım set out from Istanbul to Ankara with his spouse Semiha Yıldırım. Prime Minister Yıldırım, who preferred the highway to airline due to the security risk, only had his driver and his regular security guards with him. The convoy which headed towards Kastamonu road due to an air attack risk, entered Ilgaz Tunnel which was under construction. To block any signals that would reveal their location, they went to the Ilgaz Tunnel construction site. Yıldırım, who stayed there for approximately one and a half hours, sustained his communication with Ankara without interruption throughout this period.
