Hulusi Akar was taken to Akıncı Base
After the Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar was brought to Akıncı Base, gunshots were heard at the Headquarters. Anti-coup soldiers and the police clashed with the putschist soldiers who invaded the General Staff Headquarters. During the clash, Cobra military helicopters opened fire at the police officers in front of the General Staff Headquarters. Around 22:40, a large number of ambulances began to arrive in front of the Headquarters captured by the putschist soldiers.
