Hasan Kaya

46-year-old Hasan Kaya rushed to the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, which was one of the most important defense lines during the coup attempt, immediately after hearing the news about the attempt. Originally from Sivas, Construction Foreman Kaya, who was the target of traitors' bullets on the bridge, was martyred here.

The martyr was buried after his funeral prayer held following the mid-afternoon prayer at Kavacık Hasan Yavuz Mosque on July 16th.

Thousands of people from Beykoz bid farewell to him

Thousands of people from Beykoz, as well as his family and relatives, attended his funeral ceremony chanting Takbir and Salawat and bid farewell to the martyr.

Born in 1970 and father of two, Martyr Hasan Kaya’s name was given to a primary school in his neighborhood to honor him, following his death on Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge on July 15.
