Putschist soldiers carried out bombing attacks on police buildings

F-16s taking off from Ankara Akıncı Base carried out bombing attacks on police buildings by the orders of putschist soldiers. Police units resisting the junta were among the government institutions targeted by the coup plotters. Coup plotters organized the first bombing attack on Ankara Police Department with F-16s at 23:18. Pilot Mustafa Özkan threw the second bomb on Ankara Police Department at 01:08 upon the order of Staff Captain Mustafa Mete Kaygusuz. Another location targeted by the FETO member soldiers with jets was the natural gas station of BAŞKENTGAZ. A catastrophe was prevented by the bomb falling only 2 meters away from the pipes in the station. A pit was formed in the area with a diameter of 5 meters and a depth of 3 meters.
